A drill driver that has a brake, adjustable clutch, variable speed and all the other nifty features my Ryobi 18V has but plugs in so I can forget about the unreliable batteries. Anyone making such a monkey?
As far as I know, Ryobi is the only corded drill/driver with a clutch.

Why do you consider your batteries unreliable ? Are they nicad or Li ?
Do they set a long time between uses and you forget to recharge them ?
Or are you burning them up in daily use ?
NiCad. Like many my first batteries lasted 4 or five years. The replacements however are not of the same caliber. I use them infrequently. But when I use them the $#!T is on. For the money they cost and the use I get out of them now it is getting to bother me.
