Question

Husky Compressor

I have a 26 gl. Husky compressor Model# 585-819 built in 2009. When I turn it on,it will run for just a few minutes and then the Red overload button pops out. It only get up to maybe 15 to 20 psi and pops out. I normally can just walk over to it push the button back in and it fires right up, but then it just pops again in several seconds. I removed it from a extension cord and tried running it right into a 20a 100v outlet, but it stills pops the button. Really doesn't have that many hours on it, it was used maybe 2 hours a day, five days a week and that's pushing it some.

Husky Compressor

I think I would remove the check valve and make sure it's not stuck. If it's stuck hardly an air can get to the tank and it over loads the compressor.
