Help, my snowblower is broken!

Help, we are getting another foot of snow here in the Adirondacks and my snow blower is giving me a hard time. It starts up, but when I engage the clutch to get it going, it stalls out. What do you think the problem is! Help, before I get buried!

Help, my snowblower is broken!

I have the same problem with an Ariens 7hp. I have already drained the old gas that was left inthe tank because I know with the etanol now that can be a problem. I believe that I had put in a gas sabilizer at the end of last season to prevent this. I also pulled the carborator and sprayed it liberally with carb cleaner. I cleaned the plug but it still will not keep running. I also am looking at my second snow storm in two days. I will appreciate any help.
