Fred Wappat Alta products worm drive saw

I have an Alta Products/ Fred Wappat A 9 model worm drive saw, serial # 6F20. Iv'e been trying to determine when it was manufactured. there seems to be about a ten year gap in the history of Mr. Wappats saw manufacturing. He manufactured under several different names. I believe his first was in 1927 in Pittsburg Pa. From there he went to Mayville N.Y.and manufactured under his name. Some where along the line his saw was called Red Streak with a lightning bolt. Any input would be helpful. Thanks Clif
