Forged 'half round'?

I have honestly no idea what this means. Keep seeing it on chisel and crowbar tool descriptions, the biggest offender being Toolbank (not helped by their already terrible category system!).

Here is an example of what I mean, on the similarly perplexing 'handy bar' (isn't this just a utility bar.). Picture is attached:

'The Handy Bar is forged half round, for added strength and less weight.'

Sounds great.... no idea what it means!

The bar has that slight curl along the handle instead of being flat making it stronger.

Thank you! That makes perfect sense and I feel very dense indeed. I have seen this on chunkier bars such as digging bars too, where the shaft is not flat but thick and chunky - presumably it means something different then? if so, what?

Google "forging"
The metal is compressed by hammering to compress the space lattices not just cast, or stamped out.
Ever seen how a Semeri sword is made?

Fraid not, I'm not a tools man by trade, really just a novice!

Will Google Semeri sword though - sounds interesting.

Forging uses compression to shape metal, doesn't have to be hammered.

Stanley marketed them years ago as "wonder bars". It's sort of become the generic name for flat pry bars since. They're forged, but they're not made like a Samurai sword. Samurai swords are made by a wildly exotic process.
