OK so i driving down my street and what do i see...
the compressor mentioned in the title of the post.
the wire from the motor is cut and there's no pressure switch power cord just the stub coming from the tank.

My neighbor says it has "bad bearings" n the compressor but the motor is good.
Long story short
I figured out the electric and it is pretty noise.
So i want to pull the bottom apart and check the lower bearings.
I pulled the cover from the plate side it looks OK but how do you get to the bearing on the other side.
What holds the pulley on?
As far as the crank i think i can shove the rods up the barrels after disconnecting them and most likely changing out the rod bearings as well. if they check out.

any suggestions? tips

There's no nut on the shaft of the flywheel, nothing. I do see the end of the "roll pin"
In the diagram there's mention of a roll pin, but i have no idea whats holding the flywheel on the end of the crank.
The roll pin?
I guess tomorrow I'll but the gear puller on it and see if it gives.
And suggestions?
