Dremel

What are some of the small unique ways you've found your dremmel to come in handy?

Dremel

Opening up the rectangluer hole in a strike plate on a door jam.
Cutting up the coping saw cut when doing molding.
Making a new slot then a screw head rounds off.
Cutting off a stray nail shank that pops through the jam on a door when installing casing.
Removing rust or corrosion on small objects.

Dremel

I like the idea of using it for a new slot on a screw! Very useful!
Thanks for responding, guys!

Dremel

I use it to repair woodpecker damage to my house siding. I make round plugs, and use the dremel (with sanding drum) to make fine adjustments to hole size so that plug fits nicely.

+1 on the chainsaw, door strike, and screw slots.

I've used the little sanding drums to trim my dogs nails.
