I have one my kids bought me for a Christmas present at least five years ago. As a retired machinist I can say this unit is very good. I had to learn the old way, to sharpen drill bits by hand, and right. The Drill Doctor is worth the monies, I have the unit that sharpens up to 1/2". Thanks, David

Well worth the $20.00 I spent on one on closeout a couple of years back. It sat around for a while, then a neighbor was working on an old truck (restoring it) and kept wearing out bits trying to drill out welds to get a body panel off. I went and got the Drill Dr. and in a couple of minutes we figured it out. Only takes a minute to touch up a bit. A couple of passes and a broken one is usable.
