Dewalt 718 Saw. Help setting bevel
I have a Dewalt 718, I can't figure out how to lock the bevel setting to something other than the 5 presets, I need to cut some edges at 26.7 degrees
Does anyone have this saw?? |

Dewalt 718 Saw. Help setting bevel
Turn one release lever until the saw can bevel, set the bevel, then return the release lever to the original position, locking the bevel.

Dewalt 718 Saw. Help setting bevel
I tried that, but if the bevel ain't locked in one of the preset notchs 22, or 33 or whichever then it won't stay locked. I need of 26.7 but it doesn't fall in a notch so it doesn't lock

Dewalt 718 Saw. Help setting bevel
That's how mine works. This saw has 2 bevel release levers, one on each side. Both of them have to be in the same position to lock the bevel. Start by positioning both flat to the saw. Try to set as I said before.
