Cutting close to walls...

I will be replacing subfloors soon. The old subfloor plywood will need to be cut away from the walls...what tool would work best to get close as possible to those baseboard areas? Thanks in advance

subfloor as in the 3/4 or 1 1/8 stuff? Why would you want to replace that?

Anyways, if that's what you are doing, for a close cut you can use an offset for a sawsall, it put's that blade to one side to cut flush without torquing or bending the hell out of the blade.

I'd suggest that you also remove the baseboards to get to the subfloor areas to be removed. This will also save them from getting beat-up/damaged, during the Subfloor removal process.
Save the B.B., and re-install after the new subfloor is in.
