Cordless Makita Driver battery down
Cordless Makita driver 6347DWDE is down one battery now. Older unit, still works good. Question is - should I shell out for a new battery or is it telling me to get a new drill?
Battery runs about 60-70 bucks. Opinions? Thoughts?

i say check ebay first. if there isnt much on there then i say its time to upgrade go buy a new drill kit. for decent home use drills at a good price check out ryobis line.

You can go on the internet under tool batteries and find some pretty decent deals. Just my opinion but I don't think you would be very happy with a Roybi after the having the makita.

Cordless Makita Driver battery down
yup.. couldnt agree more. i just bought my 2nd makita kit on the weekend.. replacing my bosch kit.. ive owned close to a dozen cordless drills/ impacts.. and all will out perform the rybobi. .i work with a guy whos really really cheap.. he bought the ryobi. and it feels like a toy compared to makita, bosch, dewalt or milwaukee
as for older model how old is it. check around online you can sometimes get stuff dirt cheap if its no longer readily available in stores.. they will carry the current batteries because tradesman like having 3 or 4 batteries for one tool so they dont have to worry about downtime from batteries charging Last edited by woodworkbykirk; 11-26-2012 at 10:20 PM. |
