Briggs engine fuel/carburator problem

New to this forum today. I have a 19G400 Briggs engine on a home generator. I've cleaned the carb and checked the float to ensure it's not stuck. Engine will start and run for a few secondes, then unburned fuel pours from the air intake tube. Any ideas? Thanks,

I'd say the float is sticking but you mentioned that you've checked it. Maybe you could get some Berryman's and spray the carb internals. It will clean up any fuel laquer that might have built up.
