brass grommet wire terminators on electric motor
The electric motor of my 1950s era table saw has 1/4" brass grommet/donut terminators on the leads. I want to replace the plug and use the same sort of grommets because they would be less likely to vibrate loose than a U-shaped terminator. What tool is used to crimp the grommet around the wire, just a pair of grommet pliers? Any special tool that helps to hold the wire in place? Is this a special kind of grommet -- not the same as the kind used with fabric? Thanks
