Bostich nail gun seal replacement

Trying to remove old trigger seal and contrary to the instructions included with the new seal, it will not just "POP" out. I've tried pulling and putting compressed air behind etc. it just won't budge.
Any suggestions?
Thank you

After removing the pins that hold in the trigger, remove the trigger. You probably have that done already. Hold a folded up rag over the trigger valve so it doesn't go flying. You need about 110# of air pressure. Hook up the airline and it should pop right out. Only thing holding it in is a couple of O rings and gunk. If it doesn't come out right away, disconnect the airline and try some penetrating oil around the trigger valve then try the air again. Mine popped right out.

Ok. I'll try oiling the old seal first. I did put a lot of compressed air behind it already but maybe the oil will finally move it.
Thank you very much

Seal finally came out. Of course it would have come out a little faster had I only removed the pin that was holding it in first. The gun was so gunked up with crud, I couldn't see the pin until my second look this morning.

Happens to the best of us. I usually take a second look if something's giving me a hard time coming apart.

Thanks mike. It came out exactly like you said-even faster. Didn't have a chance to put a rag over it before it shot out across the room
