Stick with the wonder bar for doing small repairs.
If your stripping a whole roof use a real shingle shovel.

yeah i have the shingle shovel and shingle prybars. they work great. im just trying to figure out a good way to attach my wonderbar to my belt or one of my pouches. i didnt give a dam* when fixing it to my old pouches, but now have new ones and figure there should be a way of making a carrying holster that would function better than my old setup, which wasnt the best to begin with.

i did find this site that sells these, they would work but think its something i could make myself. only $10.00 thought, plus shipping. might be worth it.

the only down side is that it would be tangling around your legs. thinking something like this but at a 30 degree angle form front to back towards top of my left pouch.

2 thoughts.Who the hell staples shingles and why are you pulling them?Small repair or whole roof. The only time I see stapled shingles is on prefabbed sheds or garages.I'm figuring it must be a repair if your not using a tear off shovel.
Just curious.
As far as holders,I have a pocket in my bag that is deep enough to keep it in most of the time.About the only time I use them these days is on roofs.Use a Estwing trim bar for most everything.
The holder in the pic looked decent but don't need anything banging around on my leg.

I have done a few repairs on stapled shingle roofs and after getting the top row I need off just took some dykes and pulled them from the top.
