ALL-PRO forced air heater always runs slow

I have an "ALL-PRO' bullet heater (50,000 to 85,000 BTU) that will fire up, but it fires up like a real big burst like it always did when holding the igniter, then cuts way down within 2 seconds to a low fire about two(2) inches in diameter, looking in from the front. Won't stay lit after I release the igniter. Guess it isn't enough fire to keep the thermocouple hot. Anyone have this problem or any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Ted

I don't know what happened, but on the third tank I tried,it started working again. Maybe setting all summer had something to do with it. OK, now.
