air staple gun not firing
I have a bosch 17 gauge crown air staple gun. It worked for the first 10 staples then stopped. I unjammed a staple but the gun wont fire. Air pressure is ok, when I pull the trigger I hear the air hiss. What else can I check? 647-202-0898

you mean the 18 gauge, they dont make a 17 gauge.
souinds like the drive pin is jammed, open up the magazine where you load the gun with staples. you should see a u shaped peice of metal sticking out from inside the barrel of the gun.. using a flat head or robertson screwdriver, lightly tap it back inside the nailer.. did you oil the nailer before you used it? |
