Air Compressor Question

I just purchased a air compressor and it is a 240v compressor. I have piped it up for air but still need to run wiring. It plugs into the pressure switch but not sure how. Is there a plug that I run to the wall outlet or do I just run wire straight to it? Thanks for the help. I don't have a plug yet but am going to run the wire here in the next couple days.

Air Compressor Question

Most 240V compressors can either be hard wired or set up with a plug and outlet. If you don't expect to move it, I'd hard-wire it and save the expense of a plug and outlet.

Air Compressor Question

If I'm not mistaken you will need a disconnect real close to the compressor. So the easiest way to do that is a plug in.
