12v Corded Drill
I have seen other people show how they converted a wireless 12v drill into a corded 12v. (Nice for solar or automotive work)

I am wondering if I can use this impact wrench with this hole saw set.

I like the driver because it has clamps for the terminal points. I don't like that it doesn't have a keyless chuck... maybe someone knows of a cheap 12v drill with clamps?

You can see the type of tip the impact driver has. It is 1/2" of whatever type of head that is called... I can't find a specific name for it to help me find a fitting to either go between or change the tip to a keyed/keyless chuck.

I know the head is typically for a hand operated socket wrench...

I'm still trying to figure out what the advantage would be to do it that way.
Why would you want to have to deal with a cord? May as well run a 120 volt drill off an inverter.
That tool in the picture is strickly an impact tool for removing nuts, not made for drilling.
You would be better off to buy an 18 impact drill with two batterys and a charger.

You can't, for a couple of reasons. 1, there isn't a way to "chuck" the pilot bit into the impact wrench. (keyword is chuck) and 2. The hole saw requires a constant spinning motion to work. Under any load the inpact wrench stops spinning and pulses...won't really work for a saw application.

Okay, excellent. Thanks for the feedback, I have never used one of these.
