wood finishing

Beginner needs help! I am out of polycrylic wood finish and would like to apply one more sealer coat to my stained piece. I have plenty of polyurethane. Can I use this oil based product on top of two coats of the water based finish? Any do's or don'ts on this? Thanks

Technically you can apply the polyurethane over the waterborne product, but I would suggest just getting some more of the same product for the last coat. I have never been a fan of mixing products.

Ditto. It is not worth having your top layer compromised after all the other work. Stick with fully compatible chemistries for best results.
