Wireless Intercoms?

Anyone installed some of the new wireless intercoms?

We have tried to get by using the cordless phones with the intercom feature....but cordless phone stay put about as well as the TV remote....hence, I'm looking to install something that I can mount to the wall so it doesn't 'walk away'.

The other option is wired....but I keep having memories of the Brady Bunch Boxes that were on the wall.....
