Why Can't I Edit Post's I Have Responded To?

Just recently when attempting to change or edit a post, the edit box with the post will come up, I can add and move things around it just won't save, any idea's on why this might be happening?Mark __________________ When its all said and done there is usually more said than done To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. I am talking about a new post, there is something funky going on with the edit function, just wondering if anyone else has run into this. I don't know if its a compatibility thing. But if I put in a return (enter) into a new post (to make a new paragraph) when it posts the space is not there. The thing is I have changed no settings so I don't get why it would all of a sudden start doing this......computers some times frustrating.
