You need to sit down with a good agent and learn something about insurance for your business. Use a search engine to find a LOCAL agency that handles your line of work.
Your question is so profoundly unanswerable that it reveals a total lack knowledge about insurance. The only 'low' insurance you'll ever get without good knoweldge is the kind that won't cover you when you have a loss.

Yup
You won't find the info you need here, you need to face to face with a local agent

As above, it all varies from place to place and scope of work. Don't short yourself either, I could pull in my horns a little bit, get by with $600K of coverage and save a few hundred a year. In business, this is ignorance. Look at your worst case scenario, are you covered?

Check your local or state contractors association they generally have links to insurers licenced in your state.
