Where can I get a single clapboard?

Hi,

One of my siding clapboards is rotten. So I need to get a clapboard to replace it. But I could find them only in bundles of 10, which I don't need. Are clapboards available at all not in bundles?

Thanks you very much.

Just a guess, is this board at the bottom of a wall that's do close to the ground?
What type wood is it your looking for?
Any lumber yard I've been to, Lowes HD all have single pieces.
If it is to close to the ground with a few pictures we may be able to suggest a better way to repair this so it would not happen again.

Go to a real lumberyard, if they stock that profile you should be able to buy just 1' of a piece if that's all you need.

Thank you for your answer. No, it is not too close to the ground, it is just a wall that has no covering over it.
I looked at Lowes and two real lumber yards, and they don't sell single pieces...

Sure some lazy stocker just did not cut off the bands? I've been in at least 10 differant Lowes and have never once seen siding not sold by the piece.

Unless you have some odd ball profile they should have Cedar, pine, and Hardee plank.

I don't know where you're located, but around here HD and the local lumberyard sell it by the piece.
