Waterproofing an exposed subfloor

Just wanna say Hi to everyone!
My name is Karen & I'm new to this forum.
I'm hoping that I might be able to get some advice.
We have a basement with a subfloor already built on top. We are waiting until possibly next year to carry on with the building, but in the meantime we have to waterproof the subfloor. We have a tarp already on, but it has some holes so it has already let water through. We need a better way of keeping the water out.
Any ideas for us?
We appreciate all the advice you can give.
Thanks
Karen

You could use a Thompsons weatherseal sealant or simular product.

As bob said Thompsons weatherseal sealant and I would also purchase a new tarp or 6 mil poly. Even with Thompsons weatherseal sealant you could still get leakage through the plywood joints and "welcome aboard"..
