waterproofing deck


I need to waterproof a deck this spring. what do I need to do to prep the deck and what is the best product for this job.

Is it new, old, dirty, never been sealed, sealed but some of the old sealer has worn off, tree sap on it, etc.?

waterproofing deck


just bought the house this summer. I beleive it is made of cedar, it looks to be a couple years old and it has been sealed before. there is no pealing of any sort.
