travertine vessel sink


Do I need to seal my new travertine vessel sink?

travertine vessel sink


Check with the maker if you can---A sink made of travertine will stain easily--

It should have been impregnated with a permanent sealer at the factory.

If it wasn't my guess is yes--and often---Travertine is rather soft and absorbent-
That would not be my first choice of materials to make a sink out of.--Mike---
