Toilet keeps running


After the toilet flushes and fills back up..I see water streaming in the bowl still..
anybody have ideas why? Thanks

Toilet keeps running


The most likely problem is as mentioned above; your flapper has gone bad, which usually means it has warped over time so that it no longer holds a seal.

However, it might be a more simple problem. Make sure you have checked your tank to make sure nothing is getting hung up. In the past I have had the chain connecting the flapper and the lever wrap around the top of the bar shortening its length and preventing it from closing completely. You never know until you pull the top and look at it.
