Does anyone know of a company that provides this type of service? The only thing I can find are manufacturers, not resurfacers. We want to update our kitchen and want to brighten it up with white doors. Painting is an option but we have 57 doors and drawer fronts, a big job. Thermoplastic would be better, I think. Any comments would be appreciated.
By thermoplastic you mean something like Formica or other brand laminate? Not sure it would be any faster or cheaper than painting. Nice if surfaces are really outdated or damaged though.
There are tons of companies that use it and other forms of cabinet resurfacing/refacing. Check online or in the yellow pages for those near you. Or, if you have a real, not box store, kitchen design place near you they will have a list of reputable contracts.
Be sure and check references and for complaints---if any---for the company you choose.
Where are you by the way? You might want to update your profile to provide basic information.
