Is there a good stain?
I applied stain on pressure treated wood on my porch now 4 times, each time it looks great, then just a few weeks later it appears to have huge white splats or its fading, it also shows where everyone walks and I gave it two-three days to dry.
I used a semi-transparent. Is there a good stain out there that will not cause this? thank you. Last edited by Odie; 04-19-2010 at 09:06 AM. |

How old is this deck?
Have you been using the same product all along? Do you have any pictures of the white splots? What sort of prep work did you do prior to staining? Ron |
