Thanks! Button

I just added a button to the bottom right hand corner of each post. This is a way for you to thank someone for the information they gave in a post. There is a limit of 20 "Thanks" per day so people don't mis-use it but I think it will be fun.

Enjoy!

Do we have the option of not having it on our post?

Be safe, Gary

I'm sure that was not pointed to my question, right?

if we are going to have brownie points, it is only proper to have a negative point as well. Merits and demerits. that way we know who was being bad as well.

Yes its basically just about growing bananas

I found it looking for information on a greenhouse window that opens automatically

I didn't realize until after I signed up that it was mostly about bananas
I now have 4 small banana trees growing
Plus a palm I rescued from a neighbors
I have quite a few plants....

What are the chances of adding a "no thanks" button. 'cause sometimes it's a no thanks situation.

The banana people grow bamboo too
I'd like to grow some out by the pool
But I'd need to dig down & encase the area in concrete
There are some varieties that do not spread & are clumping types

I have been on forums that used both this "Thanks" button, and also the other button that was used to express negativism.

Trust me, it doesn't take long to begin to vividly understand that old saying some of us heard as we were growing up.....
............ "If you can't say something nice, say nothing at all.".

The "Thanks" button is a great, positive addition. There is no need, at all, for the "Thumbs Down" kind of button on any forum... especially one this good.
