Suspended ceiling termination help! (pics included)

Hi there, Well this is my second posting in the same day, but I figured I may as well try to kill two birds with... one days worth of posting haha.

I am going to be putting up a suspended ceiling in my basement, and I have a relatively good understanding of how to install it (so I think thus far). One thing that I DON'T understand is how to terminate this under my stairs where the ceiling is drywalled (pre-existing from builder).

Here is what I am talking about:

A photo from below:

I thought that there must be a way to put an "angle" piece in, so I attached a picture of a suggested J-channel path on the wall, however does there exist a J-channel that goes at a 45-degree angle or so to connect to that piece of drywall?

Thanks!!

If you have the clearance, drop that small ledge down so the ceiling stays level.
If not, you can cut the wall side of the angle and just bend it to form any angle up to 90 degrees.

Thanks for the response Ron. I understand on what you are saying about cutting the wall piece and just bending the angle. However I am unclear on how to put a terminal edge on the top piece. IE: The piece that attaches to the ceiling (The piece you would smoke your head on when coming down the stairs if you were tall enough ). Do they create one of those that goes on a 45-degree angle?

If you guys and gals do not think that is a valid option, then maybe I will follow Rons advice and drop that ledge down.

Here is an example provided by Armstrong:

You just bring the wall angle right up to the sheetrock. The interface between the sheetrock and the ceiling tile can be effected with the angle piece going accross the top of the staircase to the other side. You will need to bend(about 45 degrees) that also, so it rests on the two wall mounted pieces. The tile will need to be beveled at the top to sit close to the ceiling.
