Sun tan oil on Composite decking?

Hi, Sorry I wasn't sure where to post at. My daughter sun tanned out on my deck and now I have a silhouette of her on there. I tried scrubbing with warm water, then scrubbing with warm water and dish soap. Neither option seemed to help at all. I was wondering if there are any tricks or some kind of cleaner/remover I can buy. Thank you for your help.

Try a deck cleaner. Probably more alkaline than most household cleaners. But you may end up with a clean spot, then need to do the rest of the deck.

What Bill said...... and if that doesn't work, go buy a quantity of tubes/bottles of whatever she used as suntan lotion and mop the whole deck to blend it in!

Power wash/hot water?

That composite decking may react weird with just about anything you use, so test a small area with whatever you decide to try first.

A lot of different sun tan oil's contain copper and green tea extract.
You may have to use an alkaline cleaner like Just Bill said.
Unfortunately the sun has probably done more damage to your daughters skin, than the oil has done to your timber deck.
