Storm Door hanging

I am soon to install a storm dor with a kit. The kit allows me to use the door and adjust the frame to fit. Question is, should the new door follow the existing frame, which is not plumb, or make the new door level and plumb?
Thanks. Mark

Plumb the hinge side and then set your margins to the door on the strike side.

Your kind of limited with how much you can adjust the plumb of a storm door due to the narrow frame and the placement of the screw holes.

How far out of plumb are we talking?

storm door frame

Instructions say up to 3/4" per side.

You still didn’t say how far out you are.

If you end up with a "slightly out of plumb" storm door it will still function just fine.

gottcha, Misundwerstood. ...Not too far out of plumb, but thought exact might be better than following the existing frame. The main door works fine. So, either way I should be okay.
Thanks.
