coffee cans,glass jars been there done that.......25yrs later seems to be the best deal... who doesn't drink milk stick the bit in the plastic till the next jobs up on that shelf in the cave...

That looks like a good use for those jugs. Our milk is not sold that way.

Are those edges sharp like other plastic packaging?
Are those jugs recycleable or do you get a deposit on them??

Not recycleable for money. A bit "floppy" when cut like that, too.

no deposit and they are solid once the screws get dropped in......JEEEEZZZZZ..non sloppy

What I prefer using for all sorts of things like these is peanut butter jars. I can see through them and you can stack them too. I also use larger plastic jars that peanuts came in, to keep PVC pipe fittings. Again, can see through them and you can stack them too.

Sorry, Biggles..... They are only "solid" if pretty full of screws. With just a couple of handfuls of screws in them, and they flex quite a bit.

The Peanut Butter jars are fantastic. I must have 100 of them.

This is a good idea, sometimes we can save money doing this restoration. I collect helpful junks. However, remember the flipping properties boom before the economic downturn hit, where many people turned over run-down houses and sold them? It's making a small return lately, as investors were able to grab a ton of houses for dirt affordable and now are starting to see a bit of a payoff.
