Staples for porch screen

Hi, just found this forum and its exactly what I've been looking for!

Here's my question, my porch screen is coming apart and I need to do a bandaid repair to the screen so its actually attached to the wood. Im currently without a car so I need the exact type of staple I be using as I'll be ordering this online. Ill buy a gun if I have to, but I was hoping there would be some sort of staple I can nail in. Gutting the house soon so Im more concerned with making it look good then anything else.

Any suggestions would be great.

I don't see a location, but with winter coming to most areas of the country, repair can wait until spring. Any stapler will work for temporary repairs, that stapler on your desk, a thumb tack, small nail bent over, etc.

place a strip of cardboard over the screen where you are stapling will help hold the screen in place better without the staple messing the mesh.
