Default Stackable washer and Dryer in hall closet

I just moved into an apartment. The small stackables are being removed and I am able to put my own Sears Elite stackables in closet. How do I go about doing this? They will fit. Do I stack them first and them move them in or what?

I'm not familiar with that particular model, but I would assume stack them. Then make the connections of the water lines, dryer vent, and plug them in. Then slide them into place.

Get someone to help you. Stackables are very heavy.

You should put them on a moveable platform so you can access the exhaust vent for cleaning. They sell a wheel system that goes under refrigerators. It's under 1 1/2" thick.

Make sure you determine just how much room you have for connecting them to the water, and vent supply first. It gets a lot closer then you think, when it comes to that part of this job. If they can be installed one at a time, I would do that. I did, and it saved me a lot of headaches.
Good luck!

Ron6519,
That's a great suggestion about the wheel platform, where can I get one?
I could use them for a lot of items I have, that need to be moved quite often.

The big box stores used to sell them or you can do a search for, "appliance rollers".
