snow build-up on plow

Do any of you guys that plow use "Pam" on the face of your plow as a means to allow snow to roll off the plow easier and so that it doesn't build up and freeze to it, causing excessive weight? Isn't there some type of graphite or something available? I have talked to a few of the plow dealers in my area and their clueless, including the one who sold me my plow. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Ummmm.....glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. But when I did, we used a spray wax on the blade. Sorry, I don't remember the brand name. Any plow dealer should be able to hook you up.

Actually, I never thought of that, but "turtle wax" would probably work great. This plows only a couple years old and the powder coat still looks new on it. I'll look for that spray wax too. Thanks !
