small holes in drywall mud
We are wiping down the drywall to prepare it for the primer. We noticed as we were wiping down the mudded area tiny holes have appeared. Is this normal? Any suggestions as to why this is happening and what is the easiest way to fix them?

Sand lightly and re-skim. These are air bubbles that you are removing the tops of.

Mixing the mud first help resolve this also. It makes it nice and creamy with less air pockets.

You will need a couple of coats to properly fill-in the air holes.
The reason why they didn't show up before is because they were filled with the drywall dust. When you wiped the walls down, the dust came out.
not a big issue - very common.

Good Luck...
