Show extractor unit advice
Hi there
I have a question regarding what I need to do in order to complete legal installation of a shower extractor fan.
The fan is situated above a shower and works off the main light power cord.
The ducting at present just leads into the roof space so is not vented to the exterior of the property. the isolation switch is also currently located in the same roof space.
I am looking to move house and was wondering what I would need to do to make this legal (I assume something) before selling. Do I need to vent to a soffit and place the isolator within reach? Are there any regs I should be aware of before undertaking this?
