Sash out of square

Can anyone give me any advise as to how I can square up an old wooden casement window. During the summer this window is left hanging open, and I suppose the weight of the window has caused it to become racked, not I can't get the window to close securely. I checked the window frame and it is okay, but the sash is out of square.

Any advise????:confused:

Pry, cut, kick, curse. Usually in that order. A picture might help.

you probably will have to remove the sash in question. at that point you can either square it up or shave it down to fit. if you have an upper and lower sash i would check both. the weather tightness has been affected.
