Rusting patio support beams

Both of my patio support beams are rusting at the bottom. I believe they are sunk in the concrete beam across the top of the patio. I have no clue how to fix this.

Ayuh,....

Scratch,+ sand the beams as well as you Can,+ Paint them........

Rustolium would be a Good Choice,.....
I'd use the Rust-Oxide Primer,+ a top coat in the color of your choice......

Rusting patio support beams

A picture would help -

Rust - as in holes that the support is weak and needs repair/replacement, or a little surface rust that can be repaired as Bondo stated ?

I cant figure out how to attach a picture. I keep getting failures. The bottom of one of the beams has a finger sized hole in it and there is bubbly rust around the bottom of both of the beams. Steel doesn't do good in the south florida area. Any clue what to do to fix this? It is damaged beyond what rustoleum can do. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Try photobucket or webshots and post a link to it.

It really sounds like they need to be cut out and replaced, using a different method/material to attach to the bottom. I'd be VERY careful in the mean time.
