Thanks Creeper. Like Red Green says "if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy." Words I try to live by.

Routine Maintenance

This is God's truth. A couple of years ago, I contacted one of the U's in Calif, as they were studying a particular bug (sorry Willie T, I forgot the genus and species) in wild bears. I asked if they wanted any grizzly scat from up north, and a guy replied that they would be happy to have it. So, I gathered some fresh scat, and some samples from a warm intestine (no, the bear was not exactly alive when I got the specimen). I sent the stuff to Calif, and asked if I could be notified if anything of interest turned up. The guy emailed that if his supervisor, (I swear to God this is true, though I may have the name twisted a tad) Dr Nama****so or ****samaro, something like that, found anything I would be contacted. Real irony there, I thought. Nothing weird, so this is inappropriate for the thread I started, but, hey, this IS "Off Topic", ain't it? later. john

Titan: Those are funny. My grandmother used to swear that the hospital she worked in had a Dr Killem and a mortician named XXX Plantum. We have a Dr Foote (pediatrician) and a dentist that shares space w/ my dentist by the name of Payne.
