Respirators-good and bad

Hello,I am looking for information about respirators for use with polyurethane spray foam, also safety information in general working with grout, concrete, mortar wet and dry. For example I read from another website that 3M respirators cause user to inhale carbon particles from the unit itself, permanently imbedded in users lungs.does anyone have any knowledge to offer in this area?Thank you.

I can’t give you any information on a specific respirator but you should be looking to the manufacture of any product for specific handling and safety information of that product.

On most manufactures websites you’ll find the “material safety data sheet” (MSDS) on any given product. Or just Google “(product name) MSDS” and I’m sure it will take you to the information you’re looking for.

The information on the MSDS goes way beyond what you’ll find on the label.
