Repairing Garage Door

This whole week I dealt with my garage door sticking when it opes or closes. I figure it was the metal roller and hinges that need repair but they seem to work fine. Then I troubleshoot the opener but that seems to out okay...Does anyone have any ideas where I should begin looking?

How old is it? How long has it been since it operated as it should?

I was thinking about Roller Doors...Sectional doors... Up and Over doors.
Any ideas to which would be better?
I'd say focus on the installation contractor.
A god one can probably fix the existing door and you'll be done.

Repairing Garage Door

I inserted a image. I dont know if it uploaded tho. My doors are about 5 years old. There are not that old, the problems started last week. I thought itll just stop but it continue to get worse. I just dont want to hire a contractor just yet. Should I tear open and try and fix the wires?

Repairing Garage Door

Is the garage door itself making contact and rubbing against the trim of the opening?

How well does the door work with the opener disconnected? The door should work freely without the opener hooked up. It is als easy to find the trouble spots when manually operating the door. Look for any binding against the track.

^ exactly, operate the door manually and check for loose nuts and bolts, maybe even bolts and nuts that have possibly fallen onto the garage floor.
