Removing Stain

Anyone have any tips for removing a stain spill from a aluminum threshold.

I have tried mineral spirits/turpentine and it does not come off.

Removing Stain

Are we talking a red wine or a wood stain?
You might try a paint remover for a wood stain.

Two tablespoons of Cream of Tarter mixed with about a quart of hot water. I know, it sounds stupid. But try it.

If that doesn't do it, try Turtle Wax. The stuff you would wax your car with.

The Turtle Wax worked like a charm at removing the wood stain!

Thanks!
