removing metal corner bead
In the short term, I am hoping to avoid having to remove the tile to repair the bathroom wall. But to do that, I need to remove the metal corner bead that is behind the shower tile/backer board. I haven't had any luck cutting it with snips. Would a hacksaw work, or am I forced to remove the tile?
Thanks for taking a look! (more details are linked below)
more details than you ever needed here
I have used a utility knife and a hammer to slice corner bead on more than one occasion. Just go in at an angle then turn till you are vertical light to moderate taping is all that is needed but it may damage your knife so use an old one.
