Remodeling from the frame up
I want to bye old house trailers and the lot, then strip it down to the frame and rebuild it with my own design. Has anyone done this or have any information on if it can be done?

It can be done, but I am not sure there is much demand. It seems you are only after the steel frame, and your method seems like the expensive way to get a frame. There are junkyards with those things available all over.
