Honestly, if its just soffit and facia that you want to recycle, you will probably spen more in gas driving to the scrap yard than you will get. I'm a remodeler and recently recycled an entire house worth of aluminum siding for about $350. That was soffit, fascia, siding and accessories. Average size house just soffit and fascia will be about $40. Maybe $50.

$40 in your pocket is better than paying $20 to bring it to the dump.

I go out of my way to recycle.

I took all of the aluminum soffit off of my house last fall and I believe we got $35 for it at the scrap yard. I was just glad to get it out of the yard and would have given it to them for free.

Sold a little a few days ago for 70 or 75 cents per. As high as I can remember it ever being. But, I haven't really kept up with it. I didn't know it ever got ove .49 maybe .60 a few times when I happen to see the price.
