recommend a magazine?

i'm looking to subscribe to a home DIYer magazine.

we bought our first house 3 years ago and i'd like to start adding some value to it in case we sell in the next 2 years.

it was new when we bought it so nothing really major is in need of repair. However, I'd like to start using my compound miter saw a bit!

the reason i mention it is fairly new house is that my bro in law subscribes to "this old house" because he has bought 40-50 yr old houses to live in and fix up. i'm looking more for wood projects, tile projects, flooring etc...

thanks for your suggestions.

robert.

Rob,
Have you considered " This New House" ? Seriously though check out" Journal of Light Construction".

Try "The Family Handyman" magazine from Reader's Digest. It has all kinds of DIY projects in it.

I get "Fine Home Building". It has a lot of higher end products and has great DIY articles and tips from pros. I love it.

I have also heard nothing but great things about Fine Home Building; but I think it caters more toward larger scale pojects ... writen by contractors for contractors. That is my understanding from those who subscribe. I plan to get a subscription myself this year
